Nervous Patients

It is important that your trip to the Deveron Dental Centre is as relaxing and comfortable as possible.

Our dentists are very sympathetic and understanding towards nervous patients.  If you are anxious or have had a previous bad experience at the dentist, it is important that you discuss these fears with one of our team.  We will do all that we can to reassure you and to calm your nerves.

Our dentists are all very gentle and caring.  We will ask you at your first visit about any previous bad dental experiences you may have had, and we will discuss your worries and fears with you.  We will do our best to try and calm you, to make your subsequent visits as pain free and relaxing as possible.

It is essential that our patients feel in total control during their visit to the Deveron Dental Centre.  We ask our patients to use a hand signal to stop treatment immediately if they are experiencing any pain or discomfort.  We believe that no patient should suffer any pain during any dental visit and will do all that we can to prevent you from finding your experience painful.

We hope to work with you to help you overcome your fear of dentists.  Please see our webpage What Our Patients Say to read about other patients' experiences of our dental practice.
