How can I register as a patient of the Deveron Dental Centre?
To register as a patient of the practice, please book an appointment by clicking here. This will open a new page, which will allow you to register and book an appointment online.
Alternatively, please call the practice on 01466 794089 or email us at info@deverondentalcentre.com where we will happily take your details and book your registration appointment.
Do you have a waiting list to register at the practice?
We currently have no waiting list to register as an NHS patient with our dentists!
Does the practice provide NHS or Private Dental Treatment?
All patients who join the practice will be registered to receive their dental treatment on the NHS. Your registration with the practice begins on the day you attend for you initial consultation appointment.
The NHS do not permit our dentists to provide some types of dental treatment, for example white fillings and crowns on back teeth and tooth whitening. If you would like to receive any of these treatments, please let your dentist know and they will be happy to provide them on a private basis for you. This will not affect your registration with the NHS.
For information regarding NHS and Private Treatment costs at the Deveron Dental Centre, please see view our Treatment Price List.
Am I entitled to receive free NHS treatment?
You will be exempt from paying NHS charges if, when your treatment begins, you are:
Under 18 years of age
Aged 18 and in full time education
Pregnant, or have had a baby in the 12 months prior to treatment starting
Entitled to, or named on a valid NHS tax certificate
Receiving, or your partner is receiving income support, income based job seekers allowance, or pension credit
Named on a valid HC2 certificate
If you hold an HC3 certificate, you may receive some help towards the cost of your dental treatment.
We would be very grateful if you could bring proof of your exemption with you to your dental appointment. Thank you.
How much does a check up cost?
Check ups are free to ALL PATIENTS as part of the NHS! There may be charge for X-rays if required on your first visit, but this should cost no more than £10. You will be provided with a full written estimate of treatment costs.
How long will my NHS registration last?
Your NHS registration will last indefinitely, provided you attend the practice regularly for appointments. We suggest that you see the dentist every 6 months to 1 year for a routine check up.
